There was a huge “side attraction” yesterday at Ekwueme Square, the venue of the Anambra State Burial of late former vice president Alex Ekwueme.
It happened the moment for Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju (governor of Anambra State 1999 to 2003) entered the venue of the state burial.
The former governor reportedly attracted attention to himself at the event due to his new look as he’s rarely seen in public.
According to media reports, the political brawl (which could be said to have birthed godfatherism), in Anambra State began with Governor Mbadinuju and Emeka Offor.
Mbadinuju once revealed in an interview how he was forced to pay his godfather a stipulated amount of money monthly during his tenure as Anambra governor which he said hindered some progress in the state.
