New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, 38, is engaged to her long-term partner, television presenter Clarke Gayford, 41.
News of the couple’s engagement emerged after Ms. Ardern was spotted wearing a diamond ring on the middle finger of her left hand at a ceremony on Friday.
A spokesperson for the prime minister confirmed that the pair got engaged over Easter.
In June last year, the pair who first met at an awards event in 2012 became parents to daughter Neve Te Aroha, making Ardern the second prime minister in history to give birth while in office.
