A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Asmau Foundation has offered medical care to over two thousand patients in Okene, the headquarters of Okene Local government area of Kogi State during its annual medical outreach.
The founder and chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar, who disclosed this to journalists said, eye treatment for cataract, pterygium were carried out while correctional glasses and eye drugs were given to the over two thousand patients at Okene General Hospital.
Alhaji Abubakar assured the people that efforts would be made to sustain the medical outreach.
