In a press statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer in Jigawa State, ASP. Zubairu Aminudeen Ismail, it was contained that the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) has commenced enrollment of retired police officers.
He said the exercise was aimed at ensuring that all retired police officers and their families enjoy effective and subsidized health care services.
The registration will commence on Monday 12th April 2021 and end on Thursday 15th April 2021 and will be conducted in the seven police area commands located at Birnin Kudu, Dutse, Gumel, Hadejia, Kafin Hausa, Kazaure and Ringim.
The retirees are expected to come along with their letter of retirement and retirees identification card to the nearest police area command closest to them.
The Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Police Command, and CP Usman Sule Gomna called on all retired police officers and their spouses residing in Jigawa State, who were not captured in the 1st phase to come out for the enrollment.
