Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanyan Maraj, has been sharing some Nigerian pidgin English words she is learning.
She posted a video of herself attempting to sing “Sabi Girl,” a track by Nigerian artist Ayra Starr, whose real name is Oyinkansola Aderingbibe.
The pidgin parts of the song were challenging for her, and at one moment, she expressed in pidgin that Nigeria would not see her end.
In the video shared by @Olamide0fficial on X, Nicki Minaj paused as she spoke the words at intervals, which got her fans and that of Ayra Starr talking. According to the American siger, she was speaking the pidgin that was written on her timeline.
