Reality television personality Tochi has ignited discussions online after sharing his views on love and dating in Nigeria through social media.
In expressing his discontent, he indicated that the demands of “hustling” in Nigeria have rendered authentic relationships challenging to establish, suggesting that some individuals may exploit relationships for personal advantage.
Tochi wrote, “I have always said this. Nigeria isn’t designed for love because everybody is hustling. You fit dey spend all your money on love on top one wirey wey dey use you build house for her family. Once the house complete, she starts dating another person that will furnish the house.”
Although Tochi did not name any specific person responsible for his feelings of disillusionment, his remarks conveyed a sense of profound betrayal.
His post rapidly attracted a variety of reactions from fans and followers, with some expressing empathy while others criticized his perspective on love and relationships.
In other news, A nurse took to social media to vent her frustration after a husband said he wouldn’t feed his wife.
This was in response to advice to avoid intimacy for a month because of her childbirth stitches.
In her post on X (formerly Twitter), she described a case involving a patient who had an episiotomy.
The woman was brought back to the hospital by her husband because her stitches had started to come undone.
As they entered, the husband was angry, blaming the hospital and the nurses for poor stitching.
At first, the nurse thought he was genuinely concerned for his wife’s well-being, but her opinion shifted after speaking with him.
She recounted, “I’m so irritated. My patient had an episiotomy, and her stitches got loose, so she came back for suturing today.”
“Her husband was screaming and insulting the nurses on duty, claiming we didn’t do our job right, all while we tried to calm him down.”
“After the procedure, he expressed his anger, saying we didn’t understand how this situation would affect him. He declared he would sue us, stating, ‘This is my wife, not my girlfriend.’ At first, I thought he was genuinely worried about her health.”
“However, when we told him he shouldn’t have sex with her for a month, he shockingly replied, ‘That means she no go chop now.’ I almost died when he said that, and his mother was laughing like it was a joke. I was furious! He kept insisting he ‘needs’ her and that we had ruined his chance to relieve stress.”
The husband openly said that if his wife didn’t show intimacy, she wouldn’t get to eat.
As her post went viral, many worried people filled the comments to express their opinions.
