A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has criticized singer Davido for advising Americans against moving to Nigeria.
It has been noted that Davido, during an American podcast, cautioned U.S. citizens against considering relocation to Africa, particularly Nigeria, citing the country’s economic difficulties.
In response, Igbokwe has called for Davido to retract his statement, asserting that Nigeria is the foundation of his success.
On his Facebook page, he expressed his disappointment, stating, “My in-law Davido has made me sad by telling the world in America that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement ASAP. Nigeria made Davido. QED!!!”
