The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported one thousand three hundred and eighty-six (1386) new cases of COVID-19 disease in Nigeria.
The new cases of the novel virus for Wednesday, January 20 were confirmed on the official Twitter account of the disease control agency at exactly 12:20 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2021, Gistlover understands.
So far, 114,691 people have contracted the dreaded disease in Nigeria since its outbreak in February 2020.
NCDC reports revealed 92,336 people have been discharged from the novel virus while 1,478 people have died of the same.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State having the highest number of cases followed by Rivers States.
