Nigeria Records 97 New Cases of COVID-19, Discharges 1,015 Patients

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 97 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The health agency made the announcement on Thursday night while giving an update on new cases via its official website.

NCDC also announced the recovery of 1,015 patients who were managed in FCT and Akwa Ibom State communities.

The agency also reported five COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.

So far, Nigeria has recorded 162,275 cases of the virus with 2,036 deaths and 149,882 recoveries.
