Ten ballot boxes snatchers who are suspected thugs have been arrested from different locations in Bende local government of Abia State.
According to reports, they were apprehended over allegation of attempting make away with ballot boxes.
If you recall, President Buhari warned that anyone that is caught making an attempt to snatch ballot boxes during the February 23rd and March 6th general elections will pay with his or her live.
But the Nigeria Police Force said it would not shoot political thugs who snatch ballot boxes on election day, but would instead apprehend them and ensure that they are prosecuted in line with the relevant sections of the Electoral Act.
