According to music monitoring company Chart Data, the song has officially become the most streamed song in the United States in 2024.
It topped Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ and Benson Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things’ as the best-selling single in America this year.
‘Tipsy’ has also became the longest-running #1 hit on the Hot 100 in 2024 (7 weeks).
It outperformed Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s ‘I Had Some Help’.
Shaboozey became the first Black artist to top both the Hot 100 and the Hot Country Songs charts in July, with Beyoncé.
In other news, Omah Lay, a Nigerian artist, has lamented the betrayals he has faced in his life and career.
