In an attempt to beat the Guinness World Record for the longest painting marathon, Nigerian artist Lola Mewu completed her 82-hour painting marathon.

Ronald Palmaerts of France now holds the record, having painted for 60 hours in 2013. Lola hopes to surpass him.
If successful, Odumewu would become the third Nigerian to hold a Guinness World Record this year, joining the incredible accomplishments of famous chef Hilda Baci and 17-year-old student Philip Solomon.
