Nigerian Islamic singer, Rukayat Gawat has passed away

  • Nigerian Islamic singer Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso is deady.
  • Ilorin-based cleric Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh confirmed the death of her via his official Facebook page on Tuesday morning.
  • Jubril Aawat, a media aide to Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, expressed faith in Allah, stating that they will return to Him.

Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso, a well-known Nigerian Islamic singer, has passed away.

Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh, an Ilorin-based priest, confirmed her death on Tuesday morning through his official Facebook page.

Jubril Aawat, a media aide to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also sent a short tweet on X, writing, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. Q 2 V 156.”

Rukayat was well-known for her captivating voice, which touched many in the Muslim community.

Further information about her demise has yet to be revealed.

In other news, Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu has expressed his admiration for Michael Collins Ajereh, commonly known as Don Jazzy, through social media.

On his official Instagram account, the self-proclaimed celebrity barman shared a video showcasing an Audemars Piguet wristwatch that the Mavin Music executive acquired for $385,000, equivalent to over N650 million.

Chiefpriest, clearly impressed by Don Jazzy’s extravagant purchase, remarked on the substantial financial opportunities present in the music industry. To the astonishment of many, the affluent celebrity barman, known for his own wealth, fervently wished to never experience poverty after witnessing the financial prowess of Don Jazzy.

He wrote: “Don Jazzy Took Delivery Of This Investment From My Jeweller @whitestonejewellers_ltd This Rare Piece Cost 385,000 Dollars Over 650,000,000 Naira. Money Too Dey Music Shaaa, The Don For A Reason, I Will Never Be Poor. That’s Crazy In Fact That’s Massive.”

Fake Watch Buster accesses Don Jazzy wristwatch

An Instagram account focused on verifying the authenticity of celebrity wristwatches recently became aware of Don Jazzy’s latest acquisition, valued at N650 million, and opted to examine another timepiece belonging to the Mavin boss.

The watch under review was a Richard Mille RM65-01. As per Fake Watch Buster’s assessment, it was confirmed to be a genuine timepiece rather than a counterfeit.
