Nigerian lady in tears as caretaker serves her an eviction notice after spending 4 million naira to fix up her flat

A lady is heartbroken after getting an eviction notice just after pouring N4M into renovating her flat in Ikeja, Lagos. She shared a video showing the apartment’s transformation, highlighting the effort she put in.

She explained that she had been living in a shared space and wanted her own flat. The caretaker, whom she trusted, told her there was an available unit in the same building, so she sent him the money, believing it would be a good deal.

However, when she finally got the keys, the apartment was in terrible shape. Determined to make it livable, she invested millions in new tiles, plastering, and interior fixes, totaling around 4 million naira.

Just a few months later, she received a notice saying she had to vacate once her rent was up, with a reason that didn’t sit right with her.

When she reached out to the caretaker, he claimed he wasn’t responsible and said the notice came from a senior caretaker, leaving her feeling frustrated and abandoned.
