A Nigerian man has publicly demanded a refund of ₦1,450 from activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) following reports of ₦180 million allegedly stolen from the activist’s NGO website due to a hacking incident.
The man’s demand came in response to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Nigerian social media personality Oba Solomon, who mocked VDM and labeled him a fraudster over the missing funds.
In a video shared online, the man expressed frustration and issued a 24-hour ultimatum for the refund of his ₦1,450 donation. He warned of serious consequences if VDM failed to meet his demand, stating:
“VDM must refund me my ₦1,450. I give him 24 hours.”
The controversy has sparked widespread reactions, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft of ₦180 million from the NGO’s account. The incident continues to fuel debates online, with critics and supporters sharing polarized opinions about VDM’s credibility.
