A Nigerian man has reportedly lost his pregnant wife and their unborn children following an incident in Owerri, where a doctor allegedly utilized a YouTube video as a guide for performing surgery on her.
This heartbreaking event was highlighted in a widely circulated post on X (formerly Twitter), which indicated that the case has been brought to the attention of law enforcement.
The bereaved husband shared his account of the hospital experience, stating that the doctor initially summoned another individual to assist with the procedure.
However, upon the assistant’s arrival, the medical team purportedly began to watch YouTube videos to acquire the necessary skills for the operation.
“In the operating room, I saw them pressing their phones, watching YouTube to learn how to perform the surgery,” he stated.
As the narrative spread across social media, users inundated the comment section with their reactions, expressing disbelief and outrage regarding the situation.
