Irene characterized her parents as being quite theatrical, noting her mother’s enthusiastic response as she joyfully accepted the proposal, exclaiming “yes” repeatedly.

She remarked, “Your dad expressed his desire to propose to your mum again after 25 years of marriage 😭😭.”
