"Nigerian music industry has its own ‘Diddy’" – Tiwa Savage asserts

Singer Tiwa Savage has suggested that the Nigerian music industry may soon experience its own equivalent of Sean Combs, commonly known as Diddy, the American music executive currently facing allegations of involvement in sex trafficking.

This observation was made during a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos.

“I think Nigerian music might have our own Diddy moment,” she remarked.

According to GistLover, federal authorities confiscated items purportedly intended for use in orgies referred to as “freak offs,” which included drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil, during a raid on Diddy’s Beverly Hills residence in March.

Following Diddy’s arrest by Homeland Security in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution, the rapper has been labeled a global pariah.

Diddy has denied all allegations, entering a not-guilty plea on September 17. Nevertheless, his requests for bail have been denied on two occasions.
