Nigerian Navy has disclosed the location of the popular Instagram comedian, Cute Abiola, who was declared missing some hours ago.
You could recall that Mr Macaroni, a fellow comedian, took to Twitter to sound the alarm that the comedian has gone missing.
Mr Macaroni intimated that the last time Cute Abiola’s wife and companions heard from him, was on November 15.
It was claimed that Abiola was held captive in a Nigerian navy cell and no one could ascertain his offence. Mr Macaroni, urged the Nigerian navy to remark on his whereabouts in order to dispel any lingering doubts.
The story has gained a new twist as the Nigerian Navy has revealed that the comedian is in their custody for breaching the Social Media Policy and refusing to obey particular orders.
The navy in a statement issued dispelled the rumours that Abiola was no where to be found.
The statement reads in part. “OSCOMP Abdulgafar is currently under custody in his unit for breaching the Armed Forces Social Media Policy and refusal to obey particular orders.
The Nigerian Navy wishes to avail itself this incident to remind its personnel to comply with the provisions of the Armed Forces Social Media Policy in their usage of social media platforms,”
