Nigerian poet and award winning author, Dike Chukwumerije, took to Facebook to narrate how he escaped being hit by a stray bullet.
According to Dike Chukwumerije, he was standing beside his car parked in front of his house when something fell from the sky and shattered his windscreen. According to him, upon checking what caused the crack on the windscreen, he noticed it was a stray bullet that missed him.

Today, my car was struck by a stray bullet. It was parked in front of my house, and I was standing beside it, when something fell out of the sky and punched a hole through the windscreen. At first, I thought someone had thrown a stone or something over the fence. But what I found on my bonnet, amidst the shattered glass, was a spent bullet. Is this how it happens?
