The reports speculating on social media that the embattled Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has been granted bail has been weighed on by the Lagos State Police Command.
Adesina Ogunlana, the lawyer of Baba Ijesha and his team revealed that the actor has been granted bail following alleged health issues. He added that the bail was yet to be perfected.
Speaking to the spokesperson of the Lagos Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, he stated that the command had not obtained such directive.
He said:
“We just saw reports that he has been granted bail. Well, I am not aware of the bail and the command has not received any notice based on the issue.
“I am not aware and it is not in my knowledge,” He stated.
Meanwhile, Actress Princess Comedienne has reacted after alleged child molester Baba Ijesha was granted bail yesterday over health issues saying she will definitely win the case.
Gistlover understands that Baba Ijesha who has been in police custody for molesting a minor at 7 and coming back to molest her again at the age of 14 until the court resumes to take off the case was granted bail yesterday on the grounds that his detention is having negative effects on him medically.
According to Comedienne Princess, God does not sleep and He loves children too therefore no matter what others do to help the alleged child molester Baba Ijesha, she believes God will let her win the case when the right time comes.
