Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer Davido recently celebrated the first birthday of his twins on his social media platforms.
He announced this milestone in a post on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a straightforward caption: “👶👶 +1 Alhamdulillah.”
In October 2023, Davido revealed the birth of his twins with his wife, Chioma, which brought immense joy to his fans both online and offline.
This announcement followed closely after the heartbreaking loss of his first child, Ifeanyi, just a year prior.
In a past interview discussing fatherhood, Davido shared his thoughts on the twins’ arrival, stating, “I remember when they came, everybody was saying, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be hard.’ But my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry. They’re just calm and growing so fast. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for everything, really.”
Months later, the renowned artist returned to social media to commemorate his twins’ first birthday.
In other news, Actress Rita Edochie has called out women who stay with unfaithful partners just because they’re being spoiled with cash.
In an Instagram post today, October 9, the seasoned actress reflected on how things used to be. She mentioned that in the past, if a woman discovered her man was cheating, she would confront him, withhold intimacy, and give him the cold shoulder.
Rita pointed out that if the guy didn’t change his behavior, the woman would eventually leave him.
She expressed her disappointment in seeing women today opting to remain in toxic relationships where their partners cheat without remorse.
