Paul Julius, a twenty-year-old Nigerian striker, has sadly died in a vehicle accident only weeks after joining Cypriot club Enosis Neon Paralimni FC.
The club released a statement announcing his death, stating, “It is with deep sadness and pain that we express our sincere condolences on the unexpected loss of our footballer Paul Julius.”
Julius had just joined ENP three weeks before the tragedy, with the goal of making a substantial contribution to Cypriot football.
The president, board of directors, and workers of AEL Limassol, a well-known Cypriot club, also expressed their condolences to Julius’ family and the ENP community. Several Greek football clubs have also conveyed their sympathies, demonstrating togetherness among the football community during this terrible period.
