A Nigerian woman, Evelyn Isaac, has made serious allegations against her husband, Isaac Mefo, accusing him of domestic violence and stating that she can no longer endure the mistreatment.
In a Facebook post dated Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Uyo-based mother of two claimed that her husband physically attacked her.
“God will punish you Isaac Mefo for beating me this afternoon. Have tolerated enough,” she wrote.
Evelyn also conveyed her emotional turmoil, appealing for strength and support from God.
“God, I need all the strength n love I could get at this point n I know U will do it for me,” she added.
This revelation has taken many by surprise, especially since the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary just two months prior, in December 2024. In a heartfelt message during that celebration, Evelyn had expressed her hopes for ongoing love and happiness in their marriage.
“Congratulations n happy wedding anniversary to me n mine. Wishing us more love n sweetness in our home. Happy 7years wedding anniversary to us my darling husband. It can only be God,” she wrote.
Evelyn’s recent claims have ignited significant discussions on social media, with many expressing concern for her safety and advocating for legal measures against domestic violence.
