A Nigerian woman has encouraged single women aged 30 and older to prioritize motherhood over the pursuit of marriage.
In a video posted on her TikTok account, she urged these women to disregard societal expectations and view motherhood as a viable next step in their lives.
She expressed, “If you are a woman in your 30s and have not yet married, it may be time to set aside thoughts of marriage and focus on having a child.”
She further explained that many women feel pressured by societal norms, and when they fail to meet these expectations, they often become reluctant to enter into marriage.
The woman also highlighted several reasons why it is beneficial for women to consider having children at an earlier age.
As the video gained popularity, numerous viewers took to the comments section to share their thoughts and reactions.
