A Nigerian woman, named Kagbaranee Imeah, has taken to social media to express her distress after allegedly being severely beaten by her husband due to her choice of attire for school runs.
In a shocking incident reminiscent of a previous case involving an Anambra man who reportedly set his wife on fire over accusations of infidelity, the anguished woman disclosed that her husband assaulted her for wearing a singlet while taking their children to school.
She posted on her Facebook account, sharing photos and a video that depicted her condition following the assault. In the video, her cries of anguish could be heard as she lamented the injuries sustained all over her body.
The photo revealed that her eyes were so swollen that she could not open them, and there was visible bleeding from her nose and mouth.
In her post, she conveyed her sorrow, stating, “This is what my husband did to me because I wore a singlet to take the children to school.”
The video sparked widespread reactions, with social media users expressing their opinions in the comments section.
