Nigerians Express Outrage as photos of Deborah, Female Student Killed in Sokoto for Blasphemy surfaces

The college in Sokoto has since been shut indefinitely by the authorities. Students have been asked to vacate the campus.

The killing of a Christian girl, Deborah has attracted condemnation from Nigerians.

 Deborah, a female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education was killed for alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammed.

 She was lynched and then set ablaze. Thereafter the killers filmed the barbaric action and posted it online.

 The college in Sokoto has since been shut indefinitely by the authorities. Students have been asked to vacate the campus.

“Any mob action anywhere killing anyone for any reason is wrong, barbaric and un-Islamic. The sooner our ulama wakes up to educate people on sensitive issues like these the better.

The mob action against the lady in Sokoto is most unfortunate and completely condemned.”
