Abubakar Shekau, leader of Nigerian Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, has dismissed claims by Nigerian Airforce that he was injured in a recent aerial bombardment of the sect in Sambisa forest.

A report had earlier revealed that the air raid was carried out by two Nigerian Air Force jets as it bombarded Boko Haram fighters who had gathered for prayers in Balla village, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) from Damboa, on the edge of the Sambisa Forest, last Friday.

The elusive Shekau released a new video footage to that effect.
