Debo Adebayo, aka Mr Macaroni, a social activist and skit maker, has criticized some people, claiming that they have lost all of their compassion.

This was due to his opinion that no amount of money, position, or connections can compensate for people’s independence.

Mr Macaroni stated in a post on his X handle on Tuesday that certain people have lost all sense of humanity by inciting violence, hatred, and intolerance.

He said: “No amount of money, position or connection in this world should ever be enough to sacrifice the freedom of your people.

“Some people have lost every essence of their humanity by promoting violence, hate and bigotry just to have access to few crumbs at the table. It is their ignorance and selfishness that blinds them to the fact that if United, the entire Table belongs to us.”

Recall that some Nigerians are preparing for a nationwide demonstration from August 1 to 10, 2024.

The demonstration organizers have expressed concern about widespread hunger and the rising expense of living in the country.

In other news, Onyeka Onwenu, a veteran Nigerian artist, apparently collapses and dies after singing at an event in Lagos.

The tragic occurrence is alleged to have occurred on Tuesday, July 30th at Reddington Hospital in Lagos.

She had been performing on stage at a birthday celebration, but she fell shortly after returning to her seat.

Despite being brought to the hospital, she was pronounced dead; however, the cause of death has not been determined.

Onwenu had a spectacular 40-year career, succeeding as a singer, writer, actor, journalist, and politician.

With her first album released in 1984, she became famous for hits like “One Love”, “Iyogogo”, and “Ekwe”, leaving behind a legacy in the music industry.
