Nigerian hip-hop artist Phenom has reignited the long-standing debate in the rap community by boldly stating that M.I Abaga stands unmatched in the country’s rap scene.
Reacting to a trending tweet that asked fans to pick between M.I and fellow rapper Vector as the superior hitmaker, Phenom didn’t hold back. He made it clear that while he has great respect for Vector, M.I should never be compared to any Nigerian rapper.
“Shey una dey whine? I love and respect Vector, but no Nigerian rapper should be compared to M.I,” Phenom tweeted, stirring renewed buzz around the M.I vs. Vector rivalry.
M.I and Vector have a known history of lyrical battles, exchanging multiple diss tracks before eventually reconciling. Phenom’s remark has now sparked fresh conversation among fans about who truly reigns supreme in Nigerian rap.
