Nigerian music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, has jokingly said that his friends do not check up on him even though he is in mourning.
The Mavin Records boss recently held the funeral ceremony for his mother, Mrs Ajereh, who died few months ago.
Many celebrities, from actors to musicians and even Big Brother Naija stars were in attendance including artistes signed to Mavin Records.
However, during a conversation with Johnny Drille and DJ Big N in the studio, Jazzy said that he realised during the burial preparations that he’s not been in contact with many of his friends.
He said that while he was compiling a list of people to invite, it dawned on him that they had not spoken to each other in a long time.
Drille said that sometimes because they often post on social media and see each others comments, they assume that they have been in touch.
The chat was happening as they were set to record a song, so Don Baba J added that he also came to the realization that ‘nobody really dey for you’.
