Nollywood Actor, Junior Pope Is Alive – Actors Guild Confirms

The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has verified that actor Junior Pope, who was previously rumoured to have died, is still alive.

Rollas confirmed on his Instagram page that the actor is still alive and being treated at an unnamed facility.

“He wrote, “What God cannot do does not exist.

Junior Pope is alive”.

Gistlover reports that filmmaker, Sam Olatunji announced on Wednesday that Junior Pope died alongside three others after their boat capsized while attempting to cross the River Niger to shoot a film.

Recall that Junior Pope Odonwodo, a popular Nollywood actor, was pronounced dead after his boat overturned in a river on his way to a movie shoot.

According to rumours, the actor drowned only hours after posting a video of himself on a boat on Instagram.

He was heard on film appealing with the boat rider to slow down since he was the only child raised by his parents and wanted to raise his three children on his own.

He stated that he was filming himself in the middle of the river Niger, showing the danger that movie stars take to entertain their fans.
