According to show promoter Olawale B of Fathia Entertainment, popular Nollywood actor Quadri Oyebanji, also known as Sisi Quadri, passed away after the US issued a visa for him.
Olawale B stated that Sisi Quadri’s scheduled trip to the US for a performance has been set in stone.
In an Instagram post, the promoter said, “It is with great sadness that I have learned of the passing of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir. His US visa was already approved.” date has already been set. We have no right to question God.
Sisi Quadri, 44, passed away on Friday.
Several of his colleagues in the Yoruba film business disclosed his demise.
Actress Abiola Bayo posted on her verified Instagram page, saying, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace”.
Sis Quadri was well known for having a remarkable sense of humor.
The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, or TAMPAN, also announced his death.
In an Instagram post, TAMPAN National President Bolaji Amusan, also referred to as Mr. Latin, announced Sis. Quadri’s passing.
Mr Latin wrote: “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”
