Nollywood Actress Etinosa Under Fire For Criticizing Lady’s Short Dress

Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has come under fire for criticizing a young lady, Athena, for her revealing and short dress.

Etinosa took to Instagram to repost a side-by-side snapshot of Athena and singer Ayra Starr, which an influencer had first posted on X.

The actress stated that she normally avoids commentary videos to avoid insults, but she felt this situation was overly harsh.

The mother of one was disappointed with Athena’s attire and declared it unacceptable. She did, however, underline that her view was respectful and was not intended to disgrace the young lady.

“I stopped doing commentary videos because I don’t like insults, but some things are too much. This sweetheart’s outfit is a NO….. How can a girl wear this kain thing? See the two slippers on her chest. You no kukuma wear top make you dey waka for street naked. Respectfully, pls. Love and light,” Etinosa said.

Her comments, however, did not sit well with many social media users, who quickly lambasted her for what they saw as hypocrisy. Some trolls brought to her past problems, including an occasion in which she supposedly went naked during a livestream with MC Galaxy.

@Ayoola874, wrote, “We didn’t forget. The internet never forgets. You went naked on a livestream. Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house.”

@_Zinny, referenced another past scandal, saying, “You lost the right to give advice a long time ago when you tore a page in the Bible and smoked it. Give yourself the advice.”

Aaron Leona Adaeze wrote, “Some people no dey like to learn from other people’s experience until they experience their own before them to hear word. Anyways life is a stage”.
