Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz melt hearts as they hug and dance at an event, a year after separation

Abdulrasheed Bello, a Nigerian film director and former musician better known as JJC Skillz, and his estranged wife, Funke Akindele, have caused a stir online.

They had reconnected for the first time after their public split at the premiere of Funke Akindele’s new film, She Must Be Obeyed, directed by JJC Skillz.

JJC Skillz was seen hugging his estranged wife as they exchanged pleasantries in a video that went viral on the internet. As they danced together, the two became the center of attention, putting any tales of bad blood to rest.

The video, which has since melted hearts left many gushing over the estranged couple.

The estranged couple’s adorable reunion isn’t surprising as JJC Skillz stated that as one who has multiple baby mamas and grew up in London, it was pertinent for him to celebrate the mother of his child, irrespective of their sour relationship.

He made this known during an interview with TVC, E- Splash, after causing a stir online for celebrating Funke’s birthday last year. He noted how he spent almost seven years in a lovely relationship with Funke and wished the mother of his twins good luck in her endeavors.

Last year, JJC shocked the world when he announced the end of his 7-year-old union to the mother of his twins, Funke Akindele.

He admitted that the marriage had been having issues for the past two years, as he revealed that the actress asked him to leave her house and refused any form of amicable communication with him.

Barely a year after the divorce, rumors made rounds that JJC Skillz had allegedly gotten married to an Ebira woman, identified as Falilat Raji.

Reports claimed that the private wedding was held on the 10th of February, 2023, in Kano state, and had only family and friends in attendance.

His sudden wedding had led Funke Akindele to unfollow him on Instagram.
