Nollywood mourns again as Chikezie Uwazie dies in US

Another Nollywood actor, Chikezie Uwazie has passed on days after news of actors, Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi’s deaths made headlines.

Actress Obey Etok Chima who shared news of Uwazie’s death, said the actor who became a known face in the Nigerian movie industry in the 2000s, died after a second brain surgery.

Obey wrote;

“I can’t imagine am posting this. Chikezie Uwazie goneeeee. After a 2nd brain surgery. Gini na emezi. Am so shocked to get this news this evening. Just got this from our IMSU alumni platform. I thought you told me you were going to the states for greener pastures. You promised to come back some years back but I didn’t see you. Can’t believe you are gone but God knows best. Rest on Chyko”

Veteran Nollywood actor, Saint Obi is dead

Nollywood actor, film producer, and director, Obinna Nwafor better known as Saint Obi is dead.

The actor was said to have died on Sunday, last week, May 7th in the home of one of his siblings.

According to reports, the disagreement between his siblings is the reason why his death took almost a week to be made official.

Saint Obi is aged 57 years.

The movie star came into prominence in his role in Zeb Ejiro’s ‘Sakobi’ and was featured in over 100 movies.

He is also well known for his roles in Candle Light, Goodbye Tomorrow, Heart of Gold, etc.
