On Wednesday, the Nigerian Television Authority declared that it would broadcast every match of the 52 African Cup of Nations, which will take place in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
The biggest TV network in Africa announced this on its X handle following the signing of an MOU with Afro Sports.
It tweeted, “NTA signs Memorandum of Understanding with Afro Sports for transmission of 52 matches of Africa Cup Of Nations in Cote D’ivoire.”
The parent firm of DStv, Multichoice, had earlier announced last Wednesday that it will not be airing the 2019 African Cup of Nations competition on its platform.
The largest football tournament on the continent, according to the statement, was not successfully broadcast by the satellite on its SuperSport channels.
