The following day, 2nd November, news about his release made the rounds on social media, but a few hours later the anti-graft agency stated that he’s still in their custody.
They revealed that the billionaire hasn’t been granted bail due to his inability to meet up with his bail conditions.
However, according to reports, Obi Cubana was released on the evening of 4th November
It is also presumed that the socialite will be summoned in future to defend himself in court over issues bordering on currency abuse, tax fraud and money laundering.
