Obi Cubana Stops Guest From Spraying Naira At His 50th Birthday Bash

Renowned Nigerian businessman and nightlife mogul, Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, recently marked his 50th birthday in grand style—and the celebration is still making waves online.

The lavish event, held on April 12 in Abuja, drew an elite crowd, including influential figures from across the globe who gathered to honor the respected entrepreneur.

One of the latest viral clips from the party shows a curious moment when a guest tried to spray naira notes during a money-spraying session, while others had been throwing foreign currencies like dollars and pounds.

Obi Cubana, who was joyfully dancing on stage with his wife and children at the time, quickly reacted. Upon noticing the naira notes in the air, he descended from the stage and promptly cautioned the guest to stop.

In related news, attention has been on Obi Cubana and his associates following the arrest of his close friend, Pascal Okechukwu—better known as Cubana Chiefpriest—by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Meanwhile, Cubana Chiefpriest was arraigned on April 17, 2024, before Justice Kehinde Ogundare at the Federal High Court in Lagos. He faces a three-count charge related to the abuse of the naira, filed by the EFCC.
