Nigerian singer Odumodu Blvck, born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu and raised in Abuja, reacted to a woman on X who seemed pleased about his stage collapse.
On December 21, videos of his performance in Lagos caused a stir on social media.
The footage captured the stage falling while he was singing, but he narrowly avoided injury.
Many people thanked God for the singer’s safety. However, a user named @faree_for_real argued that he got what he deserved.
She explained that the singer had defended the death of Austra, the young woman killed by her boyfriend.
Odumodu responded to her tweet, saying he would track her down and make sure she went to jail.
He wrote
“@faree_for_real. I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL NICK YOU. I THANK THE LORD FOR TODAY, WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY. AN AMAZING SCAPEGOAT. ALHAMDULILLAH 🙏🏿❤.”
