Popular Nollywood star Odunlade Adekola has reacted to Portable Holalomi after the singer sent him a direct message concerning a remark about his baby mama, Ashabi, made during a film shoot.
The issue arose when Portable, recognized for his outspoken and controversial style, heard Odunlade’s comment about his baby mama at a public gathering.
In the video, Odunlade teased Ashabi about whether she asked her husband for permission to hug him, which annoyed Portable.
The singer quickly sent a message to Odunlade, warning him against disrespecting his family.
In his message, Portable wrote:
“Wetin you talk inside that video with Ashabi, simple pls. I respect my home, I no dey use am do movie. Why you go talk say she tell me before coming? Shay, una no dey collect money for her hand ni? I respect that’s why I come your DM. I no dey use my home play.”
Portable expressed that family issues are serious and should not be made fun of, highlighting that he takes them very seriously.
In a respectful reply, Odunlade apologized for any confusion, assuring Portable that he did not mean to be disrespectful.
He clarified that his remark was not meant to hurt or offend Portable or his family.
