The meeting between the Independent National Electoral Commission and Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Advisor, has been rescheduled.
The National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Sam Olumekun, announced that the meeting that was originally set for today (Monday) has been rescheduled to take place on Friday.
Prior to the governorship election, the commission was scheduled to meet at the NSA office with Ribadu and other heads of security chiefs to review the growing level of insecurity in the states of Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo.
The Supreme Court appeals that are currently underway, where Ribadu is present, may have anything to do with the postponement.
