Okada Riders and Officials of Agodi Prison Clash in Ibadan

There is chaos at Agodi Community of Ibadan, Oyo state as okada riders and Agodi prison officials clash.

Reports have it that the death of an Okada man was connected to an official of the Agodi Correctional Facility.

The spokesperson of Oyo State Police Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi affirmed the incident adding that reinforcement has been sent to the scene to reduce the violence.

He said;

“The truth is that there was a clash between officers of the correctional service and bike men stationed at agodi gate.

“One okada riders sustained injury and he was rushed to the University College Hospital. Our men moved in swift response to be able to curtail the menace of criminal elements. Are men are still there to ensure that okada riders do not take law into their hands.”
