One of the crew members on Junior Pope’s film is the up-and-coming content producer Okoli Classic, who previously received a million naira from the Afrobeat musician Davido.
This happened after the boat accident in Asaba that killed four people, including well-known actor Junior Pope.
Fans expressed worries about Okoli Classic’s safety after the event as she had posted several videos on her Instagram page from the same set as the late actor.
In response to the fans’ worries, Okoli’s managers reassured them that she was secure despite videos of her on a boat with other people becoming viral.
“Okoli Classic is safe and fine. Thanks to everyone reaching out. She is emotionally traumatized but will be alright. Thank you for your care,” the statement on her Instagram story read.
