Olamide, D’banj And Yemi Alade To Perform At African Military Games Opening Event

    “The stage is set, and the legends are coming for the opening ceremony of #AMGA2024. Watch @Olamide, @iamdbanj, @yemialadee, and @timidakolo light up the event like never before.”

    It’s happening on 20th November 2024.”

    The second edition of the African Military Games includes athletes from 25 countries competing in 19 different sports

     Most events will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, while obstacle crossing and shooting will occur at other locations.

    The games are organized by the Organization of Military Sports in Africa (OSMA) and the International Military Sports Council (CISM) to promote unity among African military members through sports.

    This is not the first time these artists have taken the spotlight.

    D’banj thrilled the crowd at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) closing ceremony in South Africa, celebrating Nigeria’s Super Eagles victory.

    In other news, A mother shared her story on social media about how she and her daughter survived a deadly accident.

    Their car’s tire burst on the highway, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times before it ended up in a bush.

    She posted this on TikTok, explaining that they came out with only minor injuries while many others did not survive.

    Her statement: “On our way from Asaba-Kwale Expressway, the tire of our vehicle burst, and the vehicle somersaulted, landing in the bush 😭. There were many casualties 💔, but God rescued me and my daughter. I am forever grateful 🙇🏻‍♀️. #gratefulheart #rip to lost lives 🕊️🕊️🕊️.”

    “My sister 😩not me looking for my daughter 😭😭💔immediately i saw liveless body i shouted jesus where are u 😭people said they can’t find my child 😭.”

    As she narrates her experience, a lot of concerned people have rushed to the comment section to express their views.
