Singer Crown Uzama, known as Shallipopi, has named Olamide the king of street music in Nigeria.
In a recent interview with Naija FM, Shallipopi shared that he included Olamide in his song ‘Order’ due to his strong presence in the street music scene.
“Baddo [Olamide] is the father and king of Nigerian street music. So I had to feature him on ‘Order’ because it is a street song and Olamide owns the street,” he said.
Shallipopi confirmed in the interview that he has left Dapper Music.
He said he left thewhen his contract ended.
He also denied any rumors of a conflict with the label, stating that they are on good terms.
