Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as OdumoduBlvck, recently ignited a lively debate in the Nigerian music industry during an interview on the Afrobeat podcast hosted by Adesope.

He is famous for his hit track “Wotowoto” and used this chance to showcase his rapping skills and make strong statements about his status in the Nigerian hip hop scene.

Reflecting on the industry’s growth, OdumoduBlvck mentioned that four years ago, Olamide was considered the best hip hop artist in Nigeria.

He proudly asserted that the landscape changed when he arrived, establishing himself as a leading player in the rap scene.

OdumoduBlvck talked about how important it is to build credibility in the music industry. He said that anyone who says they are the best rapper needs to have real proof, like a strong album to back it up.

He also shared his thoughts on his connection with Speed Darlington. OdumoduBlvck called Darlington his “spirit animal” but made it clear that they are not friends.

In the interview, OdumoduBlvck shared a captivating story about his encounter with the well-known musician Burna Boy.

The rapper explained that he had a dream before their meeting where they were enjoying pounded yam together.

He found it funny and mentioned that when they met, he told Burna Boy about the dream, and Burna Boy took it well.
