An old video of veteran actor Olu Jacobs has surfaced online, and it has touched viewers’ hearts.
In the video, the father of two is interviewed by Adesope Shopsydoo for Factory 78, who asks him about his acting career and the film industry in general.
According to the man, who celebrated his 82nd birthday this year, he found fulfillment as an actor. Jacobs stated that acting is his life, and he has no other existence.
Olu Jacobs also stated that he will continue performing until he no longer has any strength in him.
Olu Jacobs also talked highly of the film business throughout the recording. He explained that formerly, everything was assessed against what the Europeans had accomplished, but now many people admire the milestone that the Nigerian film has reached.
The legendary actor, who was rumored to have died months ago, also stated that Nollywood had reversed the narrative of being viewed as never doing well.
According to him, only intelligent people can act since they must interpret scripted roles and bring them to life.
The actor went on to say that only such people could now act on stage.
