Old video of Tope Alabi Praying and talking about Aduke Gold resurface online

An old clip of gospel singer Tope Alabi talking about her deceased colleague, Aduke Gold, has resurfaced and caused sadness among fans.

According to Gistlover, Aduke Gold’s passing was reported on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, although the reason for her death was not disclosed immediately.

In the video, Alabi mentioned that she had a friendship with Aduke Gold that lasted more than 19 years and praised her.

In the clip, the singer, who made a remark about her fellow artist, explained that Aduke Gold was previously called Aduke Penkele, but she changed her name to Aduke Gold.

Tope Alabi prayed for her and said she doesn’t have to share their bond on social media for others to see her love.

They later performed together at a program, and fans drew comparisons between Aduke Gold’s voice and that of Tope Alabi.
