Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde came back to Nigeria shortly after she spoke about the wildfires in Los Angeles, California.

She mentioned that her friends there have been affected and that she might need to leave. She also prayed for God’s help for those affected by the wildfires, which have taken around five lives.

Many reports have come out about the situation, and firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire that has devastated the city. It is said that strong winds and dry weather started the wildfires in Los Angeles, and there is no certainty that some of the fires can be controlled.

The BBC reports that more than 137,000 people have had to evacuate their homes. Some celebrities, like Paris Hilton, Adam Brody, Ben Affleck, Eugene Levy, Miles Teller, Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, and Billy Crystal, have also had to leave their homes due to the wildfires.

Nigerian reality TV star Morey Faith was affected as well. She posted a video on her Instagram stories, saying she had just 20 minutes to evacuate.

In response to the wildfires, several people advised Omotola to return to Nigeria. Others prayed for her and her family’s safety.
